Derek Harp

Founder & CEO

Derek has served as a founder, CEO, or advisor of early-stage companies for the last 20 years with a frequent focus on cyber security. Most recently, he has founded The Cyber List, LLC with a mission to make cyber security decision making and vendor choices more accessible to non-technical business leaders. Derek is also the founder and Chairman of the Control System Cyber Security Association International (CS2AI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local practitioner peer groups around the globe. Derek’s experience also includes co-founding the ICS Cyber Security business at the SANS Institute, serving as the founding GICSP Certification Steering committee chair and CEO and co-founder of LogiKeep, Inc. At LogiKeep, Inc., where he was the co-inventor of Intellishield™, a pioneer IT security product which was later acquired by Cisco Systems. Derek is a former U.S. Navy Officer with experience in combat information management, communications security, and intelligence.

Bengt is the principal cyber security analyst at The Cyber List. Mr. Brown brings twenty years of experience that include formal project management, enterprise security governance, information security risk analysis, regulatory compliance and policy conformance and the planning and delivery of successful information technology and customer solutions. Additionally, he has experience managing IP protection strategies stemming from executing ideation sessions, through patent process administration, all the way through issued patents of which he is a co-inventor of multiple.

Josh has run operations for companies in a variety of industries ranging from healthcare to consumer electronics to agencies and startups. With a decade in technology, logistics and process management, Josh has helped companies both big and small to scale their business operation in a way that is sustainable and effective across finance, marketing, sales and human resources.
